How Rovari gets its information
Rovari combines editorial guides with open data and live services. Every listing shows where it came from. Hours, prices and events change — confirm time-sensitive details with the venue or source before you go.
Reading a listing
- Editorial — curated by Rovari. Descriptions and suggestions haven't been independently verified.
- Wikipedia — notable places matched from Wikipedia, with a link back to the article.
- Unverified — facts such as hours, cost or accessibility we couldn't confirm. Rovari says so instead of guessing.
Places and photos
Place descriptions and photos come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons under CC BY-SA, credited on each image. Images labelled “Illustrative — not this location” show the kind of experience, not the place itself.
Maps, trails and location
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Trails and parks come from OpenStreetMap and are refreshed about weekly. Place-name and postal lookups use Open-Meteo geocoding, Zippopotam.us and BigDataCloud.
Weather
Current conditions and forecasts come from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0) and refresh when you load a page.
Events
Events are found by AI-assisted web search and each links to its original page. No ticketing provider is currently connected. Ended events are hidden. Always check the event page before you go.
Freshness
Search results are cached for a short time, trails for about a week. Where a “last checked” date is known, the listing shows it.
